About Our
Shade Sails
Company

Since the establishment of Peninsula Shade Sails in 1995 on the Mornington Peninsula, our central aim has been to provide the highest quality shade products available. We believe this can only be achieved when the whole job is completed in-house. This means our own staff design and install posts/fittings, manufacture the sails, then hang the sails.

What We Do

Shade Sail Design and Install

We can design and install a sail or shade solution for any project. Contact us and let us know your project needs.

Shade Sail Replacement

Are your posts and fittings in place from and existing sail that after many years of services has deteriorated? We can make you an new sail and have it installed in just a few weeks.

Shade Sail Cleaning

Shade sails – like any structure – do require occasional cleaning and maintenance to keep them looking their best. Shade sails which are located under trees or in very exposed costal environments are more likely to need attention.

Shade Sail Repairs

Is your sail in need of some repairs? We fabricate all of our sails in house an are more than happy to complete any repairs required.

We will first come to site discuss the requirements of your project, and will then complete a full measure. From this, we will be able to provide both a 2D layout and a 3D shade diagram for your reference.

Manufacturing

Manufacturing process

Developed from traditional yacht sail-making techniques, our dedication to quality sail making is unsurpassed in the industry. All our sails are manufactured in our own loft. This ensures we can use the highest quality materials including PTFE threads, pre-stented shade cloth and high grade stainless steel fittings.

By using only our own staff, we ensure that the quality of our posts, fitting, shade sails and all measurements are maintained for every job. Our install team is fully set up with all the required tools to ensure a smooth and tidy install.
