Architectural Umbrellas

Architectural Umbrellas

Architectural umbrellas offer versatile solutions for both shade and waterproofing. These umbrellas are designed to form a permanent protection solution as they have a structurally engineered frame and high quality canopy which is fabricated from architectural PVC.

There are two main configurations – a central post and side post. Depending on the site constraints and key users of the site, we can advise on which designs could be most effective for the site. The vast majority of umbrellas we install are even sided i.e. 4m x 4m or 5m x 5m however, we can also customise the dimensions to the site.

Umbrellas are a great way to add visual impact to a cafe or a commercial site. By utilising a range of high light transmission PVC and the benefits of some internal lighting, architectural umbrellas can form an advertising beacon. Umbrellas can also be linked together for extra impact, with the canopy forming one continuous length to prevent a gap between each umbrella.

ENGINEERED
FOR LONGEVITY

One of the most important features of Summit umbrellas is their durability. They are designed to
last years, even in harsh weather conditions. Summit umbrellas are made from high-quality steel, which is strong, rust-resistant, and heat-resistant. The steel frames are hot dip galvanised, meaning they are coated with a layer of zinc that protects them from corrosion and wear and tear.
Summit umbrellas are engineered to a minimum of W41 rating, which means they can resist winds up to 148 km/h. With Summit umbrellas, you don’t have to worry about replacing or repairing your umbrellas every couple of years. These points combined enables Summit umbrellas to receive a 10 year structural warrant AND a 10 year fabric warranty*.
*Fabric warranty is based on standard range and is subject to change based on fabric selection.
