Shade Sail Cleaning

Shade sails – like any structure – do require occasional cleaning and maintenance to keep them looking their best. Shade sails which are located under trees or in very exposed costal environments are more likely to need attention. Shade sail cleaning is also an important consideration when first looking to install a shade sail. We recommend to all our customers to adopt a darker coloured shade cloth (as long as this suits the site) as they show up less dirt and debris.

We believe in providing not only a great initial product, but also all the support and complementary services so that our you can enjoy the full potential of your Peninsula Shade Sails Sail shade sail. Cleaning is no exception. Our full cleaning service includes:

  • Onsite inspection and assessment of shade cloth and stitching condition
  • On the spot emailed quote for all works
  • Removal of the sail(s)
  • Cleaning
  • Sail re-stiching / repairs
  • Reinstallation of the sails
  • Quick turnaround times of only a few weeks
Through extensive testing and consultation with shade fabric suppliers, Peninsula Shade Sails has developed a cleaning process which delivers excellent visual results and maximum fabric life. In order to achieve this, it is necessary for the sails to be removed from site.
All shade sails cleaned by Peninsula Shade Sails go through an antibacterial treatment to prevent grout from returning, thereby leaving your shade sails clean for longer.
